The new SeleniaTM digital breast imaging suite mammogram at Virginia Breast Center Women's Imaging also uses less radiation than film mammography and enables radiologists to capture the clearest image possible. Your mammogram will be performed by a female radiologic technologist who is certified in mammography. Your mammogram will be read by a radiologist who specializes in mammography and the results will be sent to your physician.
